Happy Singing!

Jump in and sing karaoke with us! Singing for the masses is fun as both a hobby or as a stepping stone to your big break audition. Practice makes progress! Each night of the week you can find a spot to sing in town.  Some singers make it a weekly ritual. Others just want to be wild and silly, and certainly a few take it real serious and are almost semi-pro. You just never know what your going to see or hear when you are out for karaoke fun. But it is always a big variety of music and personalities. You are sure to fit right in!

If you don’t feel like singing, just come out and support those who are adventurous enough to sing or “wing” a song.

On our website, we have some tips that will help you make the most of your night out at any karaoke venue.

It’s always good to prepare a little before hand, think about song selection, pick the right karaoke songs that will make you comfortable on stage and make a lasting impression. If you have any questions or want to learn ways to improve just hang out with us. Happy singing!

5 Ways To Prep

Here are some ways to get ready to have an awesome karaoke night:

  • Warm up your voice before singing so you can really hit those high notes! You can search and see many examples of vocal warm ups for singers online.
  • Confidence is key! Smile all the time and own the stage. Act like you have been there before. It is ok to be new or nervous. Push through any fears you have and don’t disclaim that you are not a professional singer. Everybody has to start somewhere, just have fun.
  • Choose a tune you know front to back so you’re not always staring at the lyrics on the screen. The audience wants you to perform for them! Get them involved and they will support you. They want you to succeed, they want to enjoy the song you picked as they remember it or as you present it.
  • Use a vocal range that fits your voice. Breathe normal, and please no shouting into the microphone.
  • Practice in the car and at home! YouTube has many excellent channels, that can help you practice.

Move The Crowd

Work the crowd, move the crowd, and be excited. It’s no secret who picked out your song… you did. There must be a reason you picked out whichever song. So have fun belting it out. The words are on the screen, the music is in the air, and all you have to do is put yourself into it.

When you get on the mic, sing your heart out. Definitely leave it (fun, exuberant energy)  on the stage. It is quite a rush, when the crowd is rocking to your voice, feeling what you are feeling, and you creating the moment is how it all comes together.

Bring all the people you can, your posse, your fans, and loved family because the more the merrier.
